My Closest Friend

You are one of a kind, innocent, kind and understanding. Fate is what brought us together and we became friends, close friends. Sharing telepathy and having a good understanding of each other. There are many things I can describe you about. I loved the way you wrote a poem about me, really touched :')



You left a soft knock
on my heart's door
and never left a screeching yell
to awaken this soft creature 

the whispers you made 
slowly brightened up my day
the warm touches
you made
to my back that faced crashing waves
told me
i was never alone 

your small eyes 
never failed to feel my heart
to know
those little unspoken words
that could leave a scar on me 

your small stature
always made me feel
a tad little more confident
that i was growing
way faster than you 
your kicks
your breath when u run
told me
what living a life was
really about 

late night texts
and telepathy talks
we couldn't have shared more
golden memories
together 

now
spread your arms
and take your flight
towards
an exciting yet unknown
journey that embraces
you

and never forget
this little light you have left behind
